What is the glycerin derived from?

We use organic glycerin in two of our liquid extracts—Focus and I Travel Well.

Glycerin is a byproduct of fats and it belongs to a category of carbohydrates called polyols. It tastes sweet but is not metabolized as sugar in the body.

Our Glycerin is derived from flax seed, sunflower seed, coconut oil or mustard oil
